Lsect ILR Utility version 3.00

This is a free MS Access tool which produces reports when you import a Learner Information Suite, Learner Reseponsive, Individualised Learner Record, 2010/11 Database (LIS LR ILR DB).

Version 3 contains 1 report for 19+ Learner-responsive provision in 2010/11, which considers fee income (assumed and recorded) as well as volume of provision on active and inactive benefits. This should help providers consider a) whether they need to be collecting more in fees and b) the impact of learners on inactive benefits no longer be eligible for automatic fee remission from 2011/12.

The ILR Utility was created by Lsect, with technical assistance and development from Mark Emerson, Information Systems Manager, Chelmsford College.

This is a free resource, which means there is no user support nor should you assume it calculates things correctly (do your own homework). However, if you think it is in some way incorrect or not working properly then please do get in touch.

If this report has proved useful to your organisation, please consider donating to the Helena Kennedy Foundation (who help FE learners progress into HE) via this web page.

Do you have an suggestion for a report to go into the ILR Utility, and/or are you interested in writing code or report logic? If so, please click here and complete this online survey. On completion you will be redirected back to this page. Thanks!

If you have any comments or queries about the this free ILR Utility, please send them to nick.linford@lsect.com
