The Lsect ILR utility is a free reporting tool (much like the DSAT) for MIS staff that use FIS. Version one has been designed to assist in preparing for the 2013/14 EFA ILR R06 return (due 6pm on 6th February). If that does not make sense to you, this tool is not for you.

Users will need to export an ILR database with derived funding data from FIS, and then import this into the ILR Utility.

Version 1 includes EFA learner reports to assist in checking whether they should be funded or not, which is particularly important for the R06 return as it will be used for 2014/15 allocations.

Detailed guidance on how to use the Lsect ILR Utility reports was provided to delegates at the 'Preparing for R06 & EFA allocations' workshops.
